No matter how biased the car is, the first 10 thousand for a foreign car is not the line, especially for such a car. Most likely, our low-flying plane will not break soon. I want to share my impressions now.

First, about sore. A small ground clearance is perfectly combined with a powerful engine, sports suspension, stiff and high seats … but for some reason it conflicts with our broken roads and “speed bumps” made by the decision of the house management. The stronger the car will cheer up a car driver who is not indifferent to it, the more frustration it can wait for him at the next bend. These are the features of operating expensive cars in Russia. Already at the first thousand kilometers on the lower edge of the front SAAB spoiler, paint chips appeared. Without becoming tempted to fate further, they urgently processed the most vulnerable part of the spoiler with dark gray anti-gravel. And pretty soon, having struck a couple of times on the asphalt (in the center of Moscow!), They matured to install crankcase protection. We bought the original one by going to the company station for this. The pleasure cost $ 275 for the product plus $ 45 for its installation. Not cheap…

Whatever you say, you get used to the good quickly. The car, used mainly for representative purposes, came in handy for many attributes of prestige: an automatic transmission, memory for several positions of the driver's seat, an optional hands free system ($ 450) and much more. In winter, we were able to appreciate the operation of the TCS traction control system: it is worth a little bit to transfer gas during acceleration - the electronics upsets the car itself, preventing the drive wheels from slipping. I wanted to frolic - the system can be turned off by pressing the button on the panel. For real gourmets, there is a sports mode "automatic". True, they did not use it often, and even then at the stage of getting to know the machine. Indeed, during normal operation, acceleration dynamics are abundant and in standard mode.
