I noticed this car for myself immediately: it’s better to stay away from these. Something about her was alarming. And she was not mistaken - before the intersection, she suddenly, without any warning, abruptly began to rebuild, not even in front of me, but directly into my right front wing. I saw: the young lady is watching herself intensely in front of her, clutching the steering wheel, and on the back of her chair is her hand. Such, you know, hairy, with a colored tattoo. Until the “green” lighted up, I managed to discern its owner: of medium snout and stubble, for some reason in a bandana … When everyone went, she braked, letting go of the unceremonious beauty (I never “butt” in principle). It turned out that in her row, far ahead, was a broken car, and she decided to go around her very early. I noticed from the back: the fellow traveler of the young lady said something to her, gesturing, she showed off to the side. And then she suddenly, ahead of the loaded KrAZ, abruptly leaves to the right, through two lanes (it is good that no one was driving on the right) - into the yard! Wow maneuver! Well, dashing girl, I can imagine what the KrAZ driver said at that moment …

Although, on a mature reflection, she concluded: no one is dashing, and perhaps not even so arrogant and stupid. Rather inexperienced and … obedient. Now, if one of the representatives of the stronger sex reads these lines by accident, he will surely accuse me of man-hating. Nothing like this! Just experience (including my own) suggests that this was the case: a young man, “generously” undertaking to teach a novice driver, said: “Come on to the left, there is a car!” And then: “If you manage to overtake the truck - and to the right.” And his girlfriend blindly obeyed the commands.

No, the “instructor” is not necessarily an idiot. Perhaps he has a different driving style, or maybe he is a motorcyclist or just a very experienced driver. The trouble is that, “advising”, he is based on his own experience, and not on the experience of the one who is driving. So we finally came to what I want to tell you today. When driving, do not become dependent on passengers sitting nearby, do not let yourself command, trust yourself and count on your strength!

Many (and not only men), sincerely wanting to help an inexperienced motorist (and they consider everyone like that, without exception), dictate how to behave in this or that traffic situation. And it’s okay at the site, or even on a busy road, and without even thinking about whether it is capable in principle of fulfilling their recommendations! All of these: “slip through!”, “Wait!”, “Well, let’s go between them! …” they themselves probably succeed (God forbid, always …), but another (and not only for a beginner, just for a different person, with a different driving style) can end badly. Someone does not really feel the dimensions of the car, someone has a slightly slower reaction. He himself would not have climbed, but dictated - he is trying, apparently believing that an experienced comrade knows what to advise.

Such submission to a “specialist” in driving a car is bad not only because of the threat of an accident, but also because one does not accumulate one’s own experience and does not gain self-confidence. When you ride on your own, you unwittingly choose a driving mode that is right for you, safe for you - and it quickly becomes not scary, because you understand: even if you don’t have enough skill, you’ll have enough mind.

Of course, we do not call for rejecting the advice of instructors (including, so to speak, unofficial ones), especially when you are just learning. But this should really be help, and not dictatorship, an explanation of some tricks (it is advisable to demonstrate them on a deserted road), and not “arm” teams in a dense stream on a street or highway.
