WE AND THE CAR
STOP BLIND
WINTER. DRIVER CELEBRATING …
… faced with pedestrian care
The heading is Dmitry ZHERNOV
This time of year is such a difficult one for everyone: drivers, road builders, road policemen (writing is easier than reading) and pedestrians. The latter will not be envied at all - you have to jump over snowdrifts like hares, and they even strive to spray mud over cars. Here, with care for pedestrians - from Samara (photo 1). The inconceivable combination of the sign 1.20 “Pedestrian crossing” and the plate 7.3.1 “Direction of action” gives a positive effect. The pedestrian residents of Samara noted with satisfaction: the actions of the drivers directed against them weakened somewhat. Still, drivers have more reverence for signs (in any combination) than for "horseless" compatriots.
Remember about pedestrians and in the capital. True, here, due to crazy traffic, the “two-legged” try to move paths through the holes in the fences. When traffic jams form on Trifonovskaya Street (photo 2), drivers seem to be trying to get into the same holes. Therefore … With care for you, pedestrians: cars - "No entry"!
The northern capital does not lag behind Moscow (photo 3). In fact, this street is pedestrian, since at the both ends exactly the same signs are installed as in the previous photo. At the same time, fixed-route vehicles can pass under the sign 3.1 - for them one-way traffic is organized here. But … where did you see that on such streets there were no oncoming cars? So that the drivers of route vehicles did not have illusions, in the middle of the street they installed the sign 1.19 “Two-way traffic”. At the end of the street, in front of the intersection, as expected - sign 5.6 "End of the one-way road." Caring, however.
But it is sometimes excessive. And besides, in Tatarstan there is a large shortage of natural Christmas trees. The local automobile authorities had to protect the pedestrians of the village of Sarmanovo with the help of an iron tree and the sign 3.1 “No entry” (photo 4). Interesting: on the opposite side of the village, motorists are greeted by a similar composition: they say, I'm sorry, expensive, but on the main rural street, pedestrians priority. But … on the same street signs 3.4 "The movement of trucks is prohibited" and 4.4 "The movement of cars" hang. So, you can still enter through the side streets? Why anti-tank hedgehogs? (Although there is an idea: it’s not convenience for pedestrians, but for drivers - they will drown on this “road”.)
Remember the famous expression: "It is impossible, but if you really want to, then you can"? Well, so we have our whole life through … this phrase. We put signs, draw markings, restrict movement - in a word, do everything for the sake of human happiness, and as a result … Maybe something with signs? So let's remove them, along with the bans. We are normal people, we don’t want to harm ourselves and others! Yes, and traffic inspectors, road workers will be easier to live. And there, you see, human roads will appear and pedestrians will not have to climb into the fence holes, and drivers will violate traffic rules. And then we painfully say goodbye to the traffic police (photo 5). Oh, painful. He looked around, there was nobody, he took the stone … Despite the care, solemnly, with the stone at the ready! So taught.
