The December thaw plunged Moscow into a flu chill. The traffic jams have become longer, and the driver’s soul is painful, as during the inspector’s moralizing. A brand new editorial car trailed after the truck, buried in the soot of diesel exhaust. Crossing like old ladies from side to side, at an acute angle they began to crawl through tram tracks - the outskirts of the intersection. Then it all happened … The front wheel rubber slid off the rail, and the front end failed. The driver was more likely to feel than to hear a blow and a rattle. The rear left slid into the same rail pit. "Well, it happens …". Twenty meters later, philosophical goodness vanished - the car fell on its left side. The inspection was disappointing: a break in the rubber on both wheels, a chip on a magnesium disk … "Nine" immediately joined in - with two torn tires. The drivers, brothers in misfortune, sympathized with each other, accepted the condolences of the traffic inspector who had appeared (he ran because there was an even greater blood clot on the road), the three of them complained about the rail fastening piece of iron and the slab rail, which made the pit, and heartily cursed the road builders. Hearing them - it would not seem a little … But there is no time to wait - business. They called their own, arrived "emergency technical assistance" with stocks, parted.
The next day, bypassing the same intersection, the editorial staff observed a compassionately littered side of a Zhiguli. One more…
What will this result in for each of us affected? .. But - stop! Do we realize that every time we ask ourselves this question, we, like sheep, agree with the inevitability of such expenses. After all, it’s not we who hurt someone, but the road puts us on the bandwagon. Why did we come to terms with this absurdity?
FEATURES OF NATIONAL RIDING
The driving style of our motorists traveling on Russian roads, foreign visitors is amazing: we endlessly wagging. Not because they were completely drunk, not because everyone was completely affected by Parkinson’s disease, but because of the fierce "smallpox" that mutilated millions of kilometers of the roadway. Our man behind the wheel is forced to dodge potholes, potholes, cracks, sometimes reaching the size of anti-tank structures.
The conclusion of experts is known: the average driver in an ordinary car experiences greater psychological stress than the pilot of a supersonic fighter. Our driver in this regard will give odds to the pilots of the whole squadron combined. He not only dodges holes in the asphalt, like a gladiator from a "mill", where instead of wings - swords. He remembers the location of the bumps on the usual routes (so as not to "step on the rake" again); knows that protruding manholes of sewer wells are located, as a rule, in a straight line; monitors potholes in adjacent lanes in order to predict the shyness and throwing of racing neighbors; taught the technique of rally racing - knows how to “raise” the front end at a speed before a sudden hill; will not stop with a wheel on the gutter of a storm sewer (will fail) and a hatch of a well (will break); honors the commandment: a puddle-hole, and behind the sign “Rough Road” I’m ready to meet pebbles scattered into unrefined resin, and concrete with sticking-out rebar, distorted, as if after a bombing … But is our fighter driver an equal fighter? .. But all the same, everyone, like us on the tram rail, even in a completely harmless situation, is destined for the victims of traps on the roads. The unit of measure of danger is also special - the blood ruble.
But after all, anyone knows that the cost of repairing the chassis (and not only), when it is disfigured by contacts with the road surface, you can try to recover from the culprit - the road service. Her people get money for that (our money is with you taxpayers) so that we don’t break pendants and bridges. Everyone knows how to recover: a traffic police call to the place, witnesses, protocol, scheme, certificate, commission for the analysis of road accidents, examination of damage, statement of claim, court. Why don't we go this way? Or got extra money?
Because only a word is said soon, but there is no excess health. If the procedure - it will cost more. Indeed, it seems that the orders and laws for such cases were established not by the impassive Themis, but by an uncle from the dormitory service, who excellently - you won’t dig in - arranged a test of patience for the victims. Not everyone has the strength and desire to go through it. So we pay for other people's sins.

The editors at the wheel, as our readers are sure, do not believe that you can get used to the idea of the infinity of national disgrace called “bad roads” (despite the fact that the classic called it an eternal problem). Once and with something you need to start. So let's get started?
Now the magazine has prepared documents for the start of the trial with two mutilated editorial wheels. What are the chances of a trial? Like the overwhelming majority of those who fell into similar situations (we are from the same test), our employee did not issue the corresponding traffic police protocol at the scene of the accident. In addition, we proceed from the obvious consideration that citizens and legal entities have the right to count on the support of the state through their bodies, which are designed to protect victims in such cases from exhausting bureaucratic red tape. We undertake to uphold this conviction on behalf of all motorists in the bodies of the State traffic inspectorate, court, if necessary - right up to the Constitutional.

According to GOST R-50597-93, the dimensions of damage to the roadway on the streets and roads should not exceed 15 cm in length, 80 cm in width and 5 cm in depth. In other words, if you, say, drove into a hollow at a speed, such that a matchbox would fit into your head, the repair of your car should be done at the expense of the road workers.
According to GOST 3634, the deviation of the manhole cover relative to the level of the road surface should not exceed 2 (!) Cm. The same is permissible - and no more! - deviation of the upper head of the rails of tram or railway tracks located within the carriageway, relative to the road surface.
The maximum total damage size per 1000 m2 of coverage on motorways of category "A" (with heavy traffic) is not more than 0.3 m2, and only in spring - up to 1.5 m2.
We really hope that this data will give you confidence in your own right when defending your interests and will help to save money on the maintenance of the car.
